Welcome to OUT Sports League KICKBALL!

OUT Sports League provides fun, recreation, and social sports league to Tampa Bay's LGBTQ+ community. Our Kickball league is designed to be inclusive of people of skill levels and backgrounds. Whether you've never played before, played way back in elementary school, or are a seasoned pro you'll find a home in our league. This season is a REMIX season where teams be created by the league or possibly a draft to ensure parity. We will also have a free day of open play kickball on January 10th!

Everyone registers as an INDIVIDUAL and you will be able to join with one (1) buddy. Due to the nature of the REMIX season, the leage will be more social than usual and give everyone a great opportunity to meet new people.

LEAGUE INFORMATION

7 Week Remix Kickball Season
Saturdays from January 24 - March 14
No games on January 31
Free Open Play Kickball on January 10
Games take place between 11:00 AM - 3:00 PM

Players of all skill levels will play in a single division with teams created by the league to ensure parity.

- Teams play 7 weeks (5-6 regular season and 1-2 tournament weeks)
- Tournament format decided by the number of teams, some teams may play consolation games.
- Teams guaranteed 1 game per week, but may play additional games subject to field availability.
- Games last 7 innings or until we've played 50 minutes. All games are umpired.
- Following all games we have a weekly after party at Bradley's on 7th to meet other players.

REGISTRATION INFORMATION

$50 per Player
League Fee Covers - T-Shirt, Fields, Equipment, Umpires, Photos, Awards, and Weekly After Party!

INDIVIDUAL - All players register by themselves and can list another registered player they'd like as a buddy.

Want to play with a friend?
If you have a buddy you want to play with you can both register as Individuals. During registration you will be prompted to list player(s) that you'd like to play with. Everyone should register separately and the league will then place you and your friend together on a team. Please make sure you and your buddy list each other to ensure that you are placed together!

FAQ

I don't have a team, can I still play?
Yes, register as an INDIVIDUAL and we will place you with a team.

I will miss a few weeks, can I still play?
Yes, all teams have extra players on them just in case you're absent on a given week. Teams can also use substitute players

How do I make sure my friend and I play on the same team?
During registration there is a field where you can list the friend(s) you want to play with and the league will place you together

I don't know how to play or don't think I'll be very good, should I play?
Yes, we’ll go over the basics, and your team will help you learn! This is a fun, recreational league so you don't need to be a superstar!

Does the league insure their participants?
All participants in all leagues and events are required to have their own insurance. OUT Sports League DOES NOT provide insurance for participants. ALL participants are required to complete a waiver. Any player who does not sign the OUT Sports League Waiver will not be allowed to participate, no exceptions are made. The only insurance provided by OUT Sports League is the required insurance for the contracts to rent and utilize the playing facilities.

I'm not LGBTQ+, can I still play?
Yes, we are accepting to all people as long as you consider yourself an ally to our community. However, we ask that when forming a team that 2/3 of participants are LGBTQ+.
